Yoorana Gunya’s primary health care is supported by General Practitioners, registered nurses, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, tele-link psychologists and psychiatrists, a visiting dietitian and podiatrist, counsellor, Family Support Workers and Social and Emotional Wellbeing Workers. Yoorana Gunya is committed to ensuring the Aboriginal family kinship unit is spiritually and culturally maintained in a suitable environment that is psychologically and physically healthy and content. Yoorana Gunya works holistically with Aboriginal people to address all issues relating to health and wellbeing, with specialist domestic violence, drug and alcohol, mental health and family workers who currently deliver a variety of welfare programs to the Aboriginal communities for Forbes, Parkes, Peak Hill, Condobolin and Lake Cargelligo.
