Our family violence program supports Aboriginal women experiencing family violence and sexual assault in a holistic, trauma informed lens.

Our priority is to provide a culturally appropriate, holistic, wraparound service for women and their children to assist them in their healing journey.

We work collaboratively in community to assist in reducing the incidence and impact of family violence in our community by building capacity and strengthening individuals and the community to prevent, respond and to recover from family violence.

Miyagan-dhuray Yidharra - “Family Violence Hurts”

This artwork symbolises empowerment, strength and healing. Seen in the artwork are large pink figures, representing those who have experienced family and domestic violence and sexual assault. Represented within the people are tools, symbolising their self-worth and resilience. Also featured in the figures are networks of people who provide support. The artwork features journey lines that are connected with tools. These journey lines are a visual representation, that healing is an ongoing process and to always strive for a future full of love, hope and respect.
